Every year Helsinki celebrate the end of summer with a big culture festival offering an exciting, genre-crossing programme: this year’s highlights include the Night of the Arts, when art and people interact in surprising and often unexpected ways, and a concert of electronic music interpreted by a symphony orchestra at the Helsinki Music Centre.
By the way: the Helsinki Festival is the biggest arts festival in the entire Nordic region! Have a look at all the artists and events here.
Parallel to the Helsinki Festival there’s also “Art goes Kapakka”, which invades Helsinki’s bars, restaurants and cafes for ten days and ten nights, bringing together fascinating art, the city’s finest gastronomic delights and some fantastic crowds. The art bash is a great way for established as well as emerging artists to show their work and interact with the viewer. The whole programme is available here. And what’s more: all events are free of charge!
Of course Radisson Blu’s Helsinki hotels are at the heart of the action and some events might even happen inside our properties!
