Cesme on the Aegean Coast is home to a number of stunning beaches and sparkling waters, many of which are family friendly.

Cesme Beaches

The historic coastal town of Cesme is the beautiful location for the stylish Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Cesme.
Our comfortable hotel has incredible views of the Aegean coast from its beachfront location, with easy access to the bright blue sea. Families are well provided for with our Kid’s Club, designed for young guests, along with fantastic facilities like tennis courts and outdoor swimming pools. The beach near the town centre  is small but perfectly formed. Located at the end of the waterfront promenade, Cesme beach is a nice place to relax for a while, especially after a trip to the ancient Castle.

Also near the Castle is the Marina, which is well worth a trip for some family friendly fun in the area. The Marina has a special Sailing School, in which children and teenagers can learn the basics of sailing at a yacht club.

Ilica Beach

The long, white sands of Ilica beach are a brilliant place to relax with your family. The beach is free, with optional sunbeds and umbrellas available to hire. This popular beach is best visited on a weekday if you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon.

Water sports are available for the more adventurous members of the family, as are facilities to freshen up in after an afternoon of sea and sand. The area is known for windsurfing and sailing, and if you visit in July you can cheer on participants in an international yacht race.

Also at Ilica Bay are the famous thermal baths, which are reputed to sooth aches and pains and will provide a relaxing afternoon for all ages.

Other Beaches Near Cesme

The famous Alacati beach is a hotspot for surfing and windsurfing, as it enjoys a remote location and usually has high winds. If you have family members who seek excitement at the beach, head here to take part in surfing lessons from one of the schools on site. Cark beach at Alacati is very family friendly and can be a nice place to take young children, as it has shallow waters.

Quiet Boyalik beach, located between Cesme and Ilica, can be a nice place to visit with your family, and is generally best known to locals. You won’t find any facilities here, but the area is calm and water is crystal clear.

Pirlanta Beach may be a good place to take smaller children, as the beach is sandy and sea here can be shallow. Out in the water you will find it windy, making it another popular place for family friendly watersports. There are cafes and facilities nearby to refresh in after a paddle in the shoals of this beach near Cesme.
