The Radisson Blu Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany, is the only round, all-glass hotel in Europe. And it’s stunning. Rising 19 stories into the sky, it cost over $100 million to construct and is a true architectural wonder. A complicated system of huge internal pillars supports the structure and yet doesn’t interfere with the interior space: the ballroom has 600 square metres of space completely uninterrupted by pillars.
The pool is on the 18th floor affording superb views of the surrounding area – in fact, great care has been taken to ensure that panoramic views of the Tannus Mountains and surrounding cityscape are as prevalent as possible. Truly extraordinary to look at and equally impressive to look from!
