The Dubai International Boat Show, DIBS, is positioned on the city’s waterfront, next to the amazing Palm Jumeirah. This is the Middle East’s largest on-water display of its kind. It boasts an astonishing selection of the newest boat models, its own supercar promenade and many more exciting exhibitions.

The show in 2014 will be held March 4-8 and showcases more than 450 of the finest collection of super yachts and leisure craft from across the globe. Attracting more than 26,500 visitors from over 76 countries each year, the combined mix of family entertainment and live events offers the complete visitor experience, with something for everyone. Over 840 leading international, regional, as well as local exhibitors are invited from 50 countries. This makes the show stand out amongst platforms for showcasing the marine life to the Middle East enthusiast. Considering the fun fact that 60 % of the top 100 largest super yachts in the world belong to Middle East residents, this is no small feat.

More Than Boats

The Dubai International Boat Show is more than a unique place to witness luxurious yachts and supercars.  It also offers the Dive Middle East Exhibition which is a remarkable selection of diving innovations with product launches and state-of-art gears. If there ever was a place to get inspiration for exploring the Middle-Easts’ rich and wonderful marine life, this is it.

As a salute to the boat show, all 450 featured boats moored at the marina start their air horns. This marks the end of the show and the beginning of the legendary closing party.

Plan Ahead

Located on Dubai’s rapidly developing waterfront, next to the Le Meridien – Mina Seyahi and the iconic Palm Jumeirah, the Dubai International Marine Club plays host and venue for DIBS. Hotels, restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance, making it a prime location for international visitors.

Be sure to book a hotel room early as the estimated 26,500 will all have to be accommodated through the four day show. There are only so many rooms to go around.
