New Expansion and Attractions at Mall of America

Whether you frequent Mall of America, or if you’ve merely dreamed of shopping at the largest mall in the United States, there are now even more reasons to visit. The mall will be expanding beyond its existing 520 stores and 50 restaurants to offer even more options with an exciting multi-phase expansion. Start planning your visit now, because more shopping, dining, and entertainment options are on their way.

In November 2015, the first of two phases of Mall of America’s expansion was completed; offering a 5,000 square foot atrium that has become the mall’s new main gathering area. While this north side expansion included a 10-story office building, the Culinary on North food court, and eventually 50 to 75 additional upscale retailers will be opening their doors to the millions of guests that visit annually. If rides and attractions are up your alley, there’s good news for you too! Two more family-friendly attractions are opening this year.
