Congress of the European Society for Sexual Medicine
In 2014, Istanbul hosted the 16th Congress of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), which, for the first time took place jointly with the 14th Congress of the European Federation of Sexology. Hosted at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center (ICEC), the event is just one of many that has moved the city closer to its goal of ranking among the top three congress cities in Europe and the top five in the world for global leadership. World Congress for NeuroRehabilitation
Every two years, the World Federation for NeuroRehabilitation hosts a congress. In 2014, this event was held in the ICEC and attracted more than 1,400 clinicians and therapists from over 74 countries. Experts discussed their work with cases of brain injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke and neuro-oncology, among other related topics. Joint Congress of European Neurology
The European Academy of Neurology was founded during Istanbul's Joint Congress of Neurology in 2014, which was organized by the European Federation of Neurological Societies and the European Neurological Society. International Conference on Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines
This event took place in late June 2014 at the Istanbul World Trade Center. Highlights included scientific programs, special sessions, papers, abstracts, and a discussion panel.
