Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo is delighted to announce the completion of the first phase of redevelopment at the hotel!
Unveiling a new look lobby, meeting suites and 40 bedrooms, General Manager, Seamus Preston said ‘We are really delighted with the new look so far. The comprehensive €4.5 million refurbishment program includes all areas of the hotel. The designers brief was to reflect the beautiful environs and an atmosphere of warmth and understated elegance has been created through the use of traditional materials and muted color palate. The new lobby is already accumulating a myriad of compliments.
The Business Centre with 4 meeting rooms and 3 executive boardrooms has also received a new look and corporate guests and meeting delegates have given their seal of approval already. The Radisson Sligo is also one of the first hotels in the region to upgrade its conference audio visual equipment to the digital platform. The hotel continues to welcome local, national and international conferences, but with a fresh new look.
Over the coming months the hotel will continue the significant refurbishment program which will include the 132 guest bedrooms and suites, the AA Rosette Classiebawn Restaurant, the Benbulben Grand Ballroom, Benwisken Bar and Healthstyles Leisure Club.
The phased program will be at a minimum disruption to guests of the hotel and the team are confident the new look will ensure it remains the premier hotel in the region. The team look forward to continuing to welcome guests from home and abroad over the coming months and years.
