Ask and you shall receive as the old saying goes.
Just a few weeks into the ‘Design Your Own Icon’ competition in corporation with Republic of Fritz Hansen, and already our fans and followers have submitted almost 40,000 captivating versions of the classic Arne Jacobsen Egg™ chair. In case you haven’t heard about our exciting design competition, we’re inviting participants to customize the iconic Egg™ chair, originally created by the legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen.
An expert jury will select the contest’s grand prize winner, who will receive a customized version of their winning egg chair design and a 3-night VIP trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. The winning design may also become part of the brand’s new interior design scheme that will launch later this year. Pretty cool right?
We couldn’t resist sharing some of the creative submissions received so far, so scroll down to see some unique and interesting takes on Jacobsen’s classic design!
