Discover something new in Nice! Following the renovation of the groundfloor of the hotel, it is now time to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view from the brand new rooftop restaurant in Nice, "Calade Rooftop Restaurant".

New rooftop restaurant in Nice

Fabrice and Didier Knoll Architect Designers led this amazing project and unveil all its secrets in our new Design Talk Video. Calade Rooftop Restaurant now sits at the 8th floor of Radisson Blu Hotel Nice, on the Promenade des Anglais facing the beautiful Baie des Anges. Good news too: thanks to its new permanent structure it will be open all year long.

The inspiration for the layout of the new restaurant comes directly from the view and the light: the sea and the skyline. The shades of blue on the chairs, sofas and floors remind us of the sea; the maritime environment has also been the source of inspiration for the choice of other materials, such as the ropes used for the shelf at the entrance, the wood of the floors and the white of the marble on the tables.

Prepare to be dazzled by the view

The structure of the restaurant has been conceived as a theater audience, allowing guests to enjoy the magnificent view: windows and pillars shape the space and create some niches to establish a cozy and relaxing mood to enjoy this unique place.

When the sun sets, the ambiance suddenly changes again: the back walls of the restaurant are covered by a lighting fabric which turns on at sunset; its changing colors echo the colors of the sky and create another new exciting atmosphere.
