Cork International Choral Festival

Over 5000 singers and choir members gather in Cork every year to compete and perform in this prestigious international music celebration, offering an array of musical highlights and perfect pitches. Experience the acclaimed gala concerts, the Choral Trail and the Fringe programme. The highlight for the competing choirs is the Fleischmann International Trophy competition. Each group performs a 10-12 minute Capella set covering a historical and cultural spectrum of music. The choirs compete in different categories such as male voice, female voice and mixed voice choirs, international choirs, church music and more. This spring, the Cork International Choral Festival presents both national and international heavy-hitters from the choir world. The concert venues are scattered around the city in various churches and Cork Opera House.
