Whether you’re into high fashion, are always up on the most recent trends, or simply enjoy a good shopping weekend, planning a visit to the world’s top fashion destinations during Fashion Week will guarantee a memorable trip. The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the fashion capitals of the world, including London, Milan, and Paris. Read below for your guide to experiencing Fashion Week in these cities plus some perhaps less expected, but equally fashionable ones!
London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week is one of the highest profile events in the fashion world. Showcasing over 250 designers to a global audience, it is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks and is known for showcasing emerging designers. The best part? This September, London Fashion Week will be opening its doors to the public for the first time. You will be able to purchase tickets to an immersive London Fashion Week experience from the 14th to 15th of September.

Paris Fashion Week
Paris is a trend-setter in the fashion world and Paris Fashion Week is no exception. As one of the top events in the fashion world, this is the not-to-miss event if you want to experience luxurious catwalk shows. As with most fashion weeks, there’s a spring/summer event and a fall/winter event for men and women. The spring/summer edition held this September will feature designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Stella McCartney, Dior and Chanel, just to name a few. While it can be quite difficult to obtain tickets, open-to-the-public events are often held throughout the week so make sure to keep an eye on the schedule.
Insider’s tip: The Galeries Lafayette has runway “trunk shows” (showing new collections debuting in-store) throughout the year which are free to attend.
Regardless of when you stay in Paris, you’ll be surrounded by lots of unique shopping opportunities. Stay right on the Champs Elysees with Radisson Blu Champs Elysées Hotel, Paris.
Amsterdam Fashion Week
If Amsterdam doesn’t spring to mind when you think of fashion, you’ve got it all wrong. The Dutch definitely have a flair for style. It’s no wonder Amsterdam Fashion Week chooses to focus on and celebrate Dutch fashion, art and design. The next one is held this September. This edition takes place in multiple locations around the city, one of the two main locations for the show being De Nieuwe Kerk (a beautiful church!). Stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam City Center and you’ll be just a short walk way.
Copenhagen Fashion Week
Copenhagen Fashion Week is Scandinavia’s only fashion week taking place biannually (in August and in January/February). The event consists of four days of shows, presentations and special events. So what makes this Fashion Week special? Sustainability is its focus area, which means the event organizers put lot of effort into ensuring the event is organized in a sustainable manner. In 2020 for example, they plan to measure the event’s carbon footprint in order to identify new solutions to reduce our impact. Experience the winter edition on a stay with Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen.

Berlin Fashion Week
Fashionistas from around the globe flock to Berlin for its twice-yearly fashion showcases of young designers and local 'ones to watch'. As one of the smaller international fashion weeks, Berlin Fashion Week has a reputation for being particularly innovative (this year for example, the focus is on wearable technology). Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin is within easy reach of all the showrooms. All along the Spree River from Schlesische Straße in the south to Oranienburger in the north, each plays host to a different collection for a full day. Stay tuned for the winter edition!
Milan Fashion Week
This list couldn’t be complete without mentioning Milan Fashion Week (also known as Milano Moda Donna), part of the "Big Four fashion weeks" and featuring over 170 events in some of the most important locations in Milan. Make sure to plan your visit to Milan this September when the women’s spring/summer edition will be held.
Insider’s tip: catwalks can be watched live through live streaming if you can’t get your hands on the coveted tickets!
