Radisson Blu and Earth Hour

Starting as a symbolic lights out event in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature. We're delighted to say that many of our hotels are planning on joining the thousands of households and businesses across the globe to celebrate Earth Hour this 24 March!

Each year hotels turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness on climate change. Radisson Blu hotels take the opportunity of Earth Hour – an environmental initiative supported by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) – to engage guests, employees and business partners in their pursuit for energy savings by organizing a variety of fun activities around a 'lights out' initiative, among others.
