Big love for Big Mamma
It may seem contradictory to start this list off with such an Italian sounding restaurant. But trust us, if you haven’t been to one of the Big Mamma restaurants, then you’re missing out on one of the local favorites. The Big Mamma Group was started by two Frenchmen with a love for Italian food. They opened their first restaurant – Mamma Gorda – in the south of France and quickly broke into the Parisian dining scene. The group now runs 6 different restaurants in Paris, each with their own style, but each offering nothing but high quality fresh products. Check out Biglove for a 100% gluten free breakfast or brunch with an Italian twist, and coffee all day.
Breakfast in Bath
No, that’s not a typo. See further down if you’re looking for breakfast in bed. At Le Pavillon des Canaux, they’re serving up breakfast in bath, and in the most exquisite way possible. It is considered “atypique” to say the least as dining there almost feels like you’ve been invited inside the home of a rich artist. You can eat in a bedroom or a bathroom... The concept is unique but most importantly the food is delicious and everything is homemade. What’s more, its on-the-water location is especially pleasant during the summer months when there are a lot of fun activities to do around the area.
